Fierce Fireflies
Felicity followed fireflies to
find where they flew from.
Felicity followed fireflies to a field
of flowers far from any fence.
She saw soldiers standing silent.
She sneaked, but they saw.
She shook when she saw what they saw.
She saw they saw Felicity.
"Fireflies killed Felicity!",
or so the papers said.
If it weren't for fierce fireflies,
Felicity would not be dead.
