Sunday Sermon

Capital punishment killed Christ and torture tormented him, so I find these survey results incredibly illogical.

Catholics approve of torture more than the secular.

How does that make sense?

Is that belief indicative of a penchant for turning the other cheek?

Reason cannot be held responsible for this defection from the tenants of the Sermon on the Mount. Is this some sort of leap of faith (in torture)?

Nation: Americans, especially Catholics, approve of torture
