Did you know that the Nazis had their own version of biology?

The Nazis used even a lesson in biology to promote warfare and German superiority. For instance, note this early line from the above text which promotes the former, "Every animal that does not secure sufficient territory and guard it against other predators, or lacks the necessary strength and speed or caution and cleverness will fall prey to its enemies...The battle for existence is hard and unforgiving, but is the only way to maintain life. This struggle eliminates everything that is unfit for life, and selects everything that is able to survive."
As I watch our modern Inquisitors racing around America trying to promote their crackpot religious theories as science I cannot help but wonder what they hope to achieve by politicizing scientific curriculum.
Science cannot advance without intellectual freedom and without intellectual honesty. Societies that attempt to legislate their way to innovation fail, and empires that fail to maintain their innovative edge fall.
A few bad apples, they say, rot the barrel.
