Shariah Law

This is a pretty good example of why one should not tolerate the intolerant.

An Afghan man is being charged with converting from Islam to Christianity, which is punishable by death under Islamic law.

From an atheists point of view you have someone being murdered because they change one set of superstitious beliefs for another set of superstitious beliefs in an imaginary friend (God). Totally irrelevant seems to be the fact that Abdul Rahman was providing medical aid to Afghan refugees.

Won't Abdul's death mean that fewer Muslims will be aided now?

Where is Allah's greatness if he is happier killing Abdul than saving his patients?

Can a Muslim man repay great kindness with murder and maintain piety?

God Rocks

George "good-doer" Bush seems awful quiet about this and yet it seems like a perfect time to support moderate Muslims. Secondly, he would get to ride the white horse for his base, who believe in killing people for rejecting Christianity (as when they blow up abortion clinics).

I have never been less tempted by religion in my life.

Maybe it's time to invest in a cave.
