Asymmetric warfare

Tonight George W. Bush and John F. Kerry square off in a debate. I feel there are far too few of these (3 !?!), and that they are poorly orchestrated, but they are all we can get in America for some reason. Wouldn't it be nice if we had as much time to pick a President as we did a Lord-of-the-Flies/Survivor champion?
